A large number of control loops in the pulp and paper industry are multivariate nature. The main objective these is to reduce process variation. satisfactory performance therefore important for maintaining product quality. This introduces a measure such loops. minimum variance which provides an absolute lower bound on can be estimated from routine operating data, serves as good benchmark assess loop performance. proposed evaluated by application multiloop headbox machine.
