摘要: Responsiveness of auditory cortex (AC) units awake squirrel monkeys to a natural sequence species-specific calls was not significantly different from their responsiveness reverse playback the sequence. No dependency noted between percentage responding and average intensity sounds, spectral content or order presentation. The effectiveness sounds in eliciting responses variable even when produced an unchanging behavioral context. Comparison these findings with earlier results individual vocalizations presented normally backward isolated manner suggest that AC neurons continuous is lower than whether artificial.
