摘要: The aim of the present study was to investigate pancreatic regeneration potential diferent fractions ethanol extract Clitoria ternatea L., Fabaceae. antidiabetic and antihyperlipidemic evaluated in streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats correlated with its vivo vitro antioxidant activity. were initially screened for acute sub-chronic activity dose range 100200 mg/kg. most potent further β-cells along polyphenolic, flavonoid flavanone contents assessed significant activity, shown by butanol soluble fraction at a level 200 mg/kg, while rutin found be least potent. In conclusion, studies treated show nesidioblastosis. It is also suggested that factors causing are within pancreas. newly generated islets may have formed from ductal precursor cells reduced oxidative stress helps restoration β-cell function.
