摘要: We describe the purification and characterization of two novel cysteine proteinase inhibitors found in Atlantic salmon skin. One these, kininogen, has a molecular mass 52 kDa as determined by matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight MS, is multiply charged with pI values 4.0, 4.2 4.6 shows homology to kininogens including bradykinin motif. The other, salarin, weight 43 kDa, 5.1 weak proteinases. Both proteins are N- O-glycosylated inhibit papain ficin but not trypsin.
