Rapid identification of flaviviruses based on conserved NS5 gene sequences

摘要: Two conserved regions in the sequence of NS5 gene Flaviviruses were identified. Primers designed from consensus these and used a reverse transcription/polymerase chain reaction (RT/PCR) to amplify region central european tick-borne encephalitis virus Kumlinge gene. The authenticity amplified fragment was confirmed by nucleotide sequencing. A band expected size also obtained when this RT/PCR applied 13 other flaviviral RNAs. This method may be useful for characterisation genes flaviviruses as potential pan-flavivirus diagnostic tool.
