摘要: Using a pump-perfused extracorporeal isolated digital preparation, the effects of 30-minute infusion either saline solution (control) or endotoxin on equine hemodynamics and microvascular function were determined. Digital blood flow arterial, venous, capillary pressures recorded at 15-minute intervals for 150 minutes. From these data, total vascular resistance pre- postcapillary resistances calculated. Isogravimetric filtration coefficient, compliance, osmotic reflection coefficient determined after last hemodynamic measurements taken. Changes in values control digits not observed. During 120 minutes endotoxin, decreased 43%, increased 89%. Precapillary 122%, but did change significantly. compliance observed response to treatment. The an index permeability, differ significantly between endotoxin-treated groups. These data indicate that increase during endotoxemia may have been attributable arterial/arteriolar constriction neither permeability nor surface area exchange vasculature within digit was affected by endotoxin. Although marked alterations are seen administration changes do parallel those documented association with experimentally induced laminitis.
