摘要: This article examines the social and historical significance of coerced drug treatment within criminal justice system. Drug courts, most prominent example this approach, serve as a case study to explore how seemingly contradictory perspectives on substance use—therapeutic punitive—are merged justify increased oversight defendants in name facilitating recovery.
