摘要: Publisher Summary The net sugar transport by human erythrocytes is the sum of two sequential processes—sugar translocation and reversible intracellular binding. Sugar binding may occur either at endofacial GLUT1 sites or a complex in very close association with glucose transporter. Therefore, steady-state measurements that report both steps cannot be used directly for modeling process isolation. This also illustrates potential control recruitment complexes to transporter—a thymocytes, CHO cells macrophages. interpretation steady state data must carried out cautiously. It remains formally possible can modeled successfully one more hypothetical mechanisms. Exchange data, inhibition ligand results suggest system does not function as simple carrier but rather, bind export import ligands simultaneously.
