摘要: Abstract In this study, esterification reaction between four different fatty alcohols (octyl, dodecyl, hexdecyl and octadecyl alcohol) phosphoric acid was performed. The produced compound reacted with polyethylene glycol-400. Then, the product quenched using sodium hydroxide to form desired anionic gemini surfactants. chemical structures of synthesized surfactants were recognized by FT-IR 1 H NMR spectroscopy. showed higher surface activity. emulsion stability measurements applicability these as emulsifying agents. foaming power have low ability foam formation. thermodynamic parameters their tendency toward adsorption at interfaces also micellization in bulk solutions. studied evaluated antimicrobial agents against pathogenic bacteria inhibition zone diameters. good activities tested microorganisms including Gram positive, negative well fungi. promising efficiency compounds facilitates them be applicable petroleum field new categories biocides.
