摘要: Various research works across the globe have shown that climate change impacts agriculture differently at different locations. It is also true affects quite significantly. Emission of Greenhouse gases (GHGs) from rice paddy system one important examples agriculture’s impact on system. Intensive this topic in last few decades has provided various mitigative options. While some these options are readily implementable, other been successful only laboratory level. Yet options, nature ‘farming practices’, well understood and adopted many parts world. However, plant development path mitigating GHGs agricultural cropping systems not yet established. As such, more aggressive strategies field validations needed for establishing ‘plant development’ as a sustainable tool GHG mitigation sector.
