摘要: Extracellular vesicles are nano-sized spherical bilayered proteolipids encasing various components. Cells of all domains life actively release these to the surroundings including biological fluids. These extracellular known play pivotal roles in numerous pathophysiological functions. have distinct characteristics, like high biocompatibility, safety, and diameters that allow efficient drug loading capacity long blood circulation half-life. characteristics engrossed many scientists harness them as new tools for novel delivery systems. This review will highlight current state arts problems such vesicle-based theranostics, vaccines, introduce "extracellular vesicle mimetics" alternative vesicles. We hope provide insights into potential mimetics superior substitute natural can be applied delivery, vaccines against diseases.
