摘要: Lactoferrin is an iron-binding protein found in cow's milk that plays important role preventing mastitis caused by intramammary infection. In this study, 20 Chinese Holstein cows were selected randomly for PCR amplification and sequencing of the bovine lactoferrin gene promoter region used SNP discovery between nucleotide positions -461 to -132. Three SNPs (-270T>C, -190G>A -156A>G) identified lactoferrin, then (n=866) genotyped using Sequenom MassARRAY (Sequenom Inc., San Diego, CA) based on previous information associations or haplotype somatic cell score (SCS) production traits analyzed least squares method GLM procedure SAS. -270T>C -156A>G showed close linkage disequilibrium (r(2)=0.76). The a significant association with SCS, individuals genotype GG had higher SCS than genotypes AG AA. Associations composition. software MatInspector revealed these located within several potential transcription factor binding sites, including NF-κB p50, KLF7 SP1, may alter expression, but further investigation will be required elucidate biological practical relevance SNPs.
