摘要: Abstract This study reports the role of waves, tide, wind and freshwater discharges over sea level in Obidos Lagoon, a coastal system connected to through narrow shallow mobile inlet. To address hydrodynamic features this system, relative importance different physical forcings were evaluated. For purpose, observations together with realistic idealized numerical modeling used. Both model measurements show that lagoon remains above offshore during storm wave periods. Hence, simplified inlet-lagoon was described mathematical expressions, understand highlight processes responsible for sea-level elevation. In general, it can be concluded multiple forcing conditions, specifically tide are important defining dynamics Lagoon. The variability is 80% due 20% waves. A correlation found height elevation high activity periods; no low activity. significant super-elevation on occurs Such explained, not only by set-up or radiation stresses but also tidal inlet morphology (mainly depth length).
