摘要: Abstract In the 19 km long Âncora River, divided by 20 waterfalls and dams emptying to Atlantic Ocean in north Portugal, fish were sampled for bioenergetics study. Average monthly water temperature during year at sites along river course was range 8.5–21°C. The four populations’ consumption, both energy mass units, lower middle of river, which isolated from upstream numerous dams. gross ( K 1 ) net 2 ecological efficiencies brown trout, roach nase very low, but detritus their dominant food item. Eel, ate animal only had two three times higher growth than other fish. High mean temperatures May August isolation effect probably causes a low utilisation consumed populations investigated.
