摘要: Using the Green’s dyadic method, we investigated numerically heat generation in gold nanoparticles when illuminated at their plasmonic resonance. Two kinds of structures are discussed—colloidal-like and lithographic planar nanostructures—putting special emphasis on influence object’s morphology a constant metal volume. The mechanism heating is explained discussed by mapping power density inside structures. This work aims giving an intuitive original understanding relative efficiency wide set morphologies could stand for basis recipe to design optimized nanoheaters.
