摘要: Changes in the ocean soundscape have been driven by anthropogenic activity (e.g. naval-sonar systems, seismic-exploration activity, maritime shipping and windfarm development) natural factors climate change acidification). New regulatory initiatives placed additional restrictions on uses of sound ocean: mitigation marine-mammal endangerment is now an integral consideration acoustic-system design operation. Modeling tools traditionally used underwater acoustics undergone a necessary transformation to respond rapidly changing requirements imposed this new soundscape. Advanced modeling techniques include forward inverse applications, integrated-modeling approaches, non-intrusive measurements novel processing methods.
