DIVERSITY AND IMPLICATIONS OF SOYBEAN STEM NITROGEN CONCENTRATION

摘要: Soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr.] shoot nitrogen (N) traits are important for seed production and may hold potential improving yield quality. Field experiments were established to survey N in i) plant introductions, ii) a recombinant inbred line (RIL) population, iii) modern cultivars. A wide range of concentrations was observed at beginning fill leaves, petioles, stems maturity stems. Significant genotypic variations stem found cultivars the RIL population. Molecular marker analysis identified multiple loci associated with concentration. relationships between various tissue quality also observed. These results illustrate importance dynamics vegetative tissues soybean composition. The variation indicates that selecting could potentially increase improve
