摘要: Soil decomposition is mainly dependent on the nature and characteristics of organic matter within soil, environmental conditions activity microorganisms soil fauna. Isopods play an important role in through litter fragmentation stimulating and/or ingesting fungi bacteria. The aim this study was to jointly evaluate effect different food types heavy metal contamination those foods isopod feeding performance assays. These studies used terrestrial Porcellionides pruinosus. After with leaf for performance, alder leaves were chosen experiments. Feeding parameters like consumption, assimilation, egestion growth ratios calculated compared among treatments type. Lower quality decreased isopods performance. Exotic shown be less preferred than or oak leaves. Contaminated also resulted a decrease studies, although can tolerate certain cases high amounts metals. For reason it possible that future crustacean as bioindicators evaluation contaminated sites remediation processes.
