摘要: Abstract The Western Marsh Harrier (Circus aeruginosus) is a summer visitor in northern, eastern, and central Europe. Some birds, mostly juveniles adult females, winter the Mediterranean region, while others cross Sahara to tropical Africa. Unlike other Accipitridae, which use primarily soaring flight over land during migration, Harriers tend move on broad front, with long, powered flights water. In last two decades, several researchers have investigated migration of this species through basin using direct observations, radar, band recovery data, satellite telemetry. We here present short review these investigations results.
