Doping and temperature dependence of inversion symmetry breaking in La2―xSrxCuO4

摘要: Abstract The doping dependence of the Raman spectra high quality La 2− x Sr Cu 16,18 O 4 polycrystalline compounds has been investigated at low temperatures. It is shown that symmetry forbidden bands peaked ∼150 cm −1 , ∼280 cm and ∼370 cm are activated in ( xx / yy ) polarization due to local breaking inversion mainly temperatures for concentrations which compound superconducting. apparent A 1 -character modes reduced phase indicates a reduction from D 2h C 2v or 2 crystal symmetries, associates observed specific IR-active phonons with eigenvectors along c -axis. temperature this superconducting transition very similar, though occurs significantly higher
