摘要: Summary The repository sulfone 4,4′-diacetyldiaminodiphenylsulfone (DADDS) was studied for its efficacy in lepromatous leprosy. It given a dosage of 225 mg every 77 days to group 10 patients, who were matched with patients oral 4,4′-diaminodiphenylsulfone (DDS, dapsone, diaphenylsulfone) about 100 per day. Two chief criteria therapeutic response employed: reduction numbers M. leprae nasal washings and the ratio solidly staining skin smears (MI). Both are thought measure viability bacilli. By both measurements DADDS as active DDS. There two deaths receiving DADDS, but these not be connected drug toxicity. The blood level “free” sulfones usually less than 0.2 µg ml DADDS. The urinary output averaged 1.6 24 hours. estimated that remained several times higher minimum inhibitory concentration DDS leprae.
