摘要: The yeasts Saccharornices cerevisiae and Schizosaccharomyces pombe have been favored organisms for the study of basic biology, genetics, biochemistry mitotic cycle. Much what we understand about eukaryotic cell division derives from studies in these organisms. Cyclin-dependent protein kinase (CDK) inhibitors (CKI), focus this volume, were first described yeast, yeast is still best system dissecting out complex vivo relationships between CKI other cycle components. This article summarizes current state literature on four — Pho85, Sicl, Farl, Rum1 (Table 1) with a particular emphasis placing their activities perspective larger cellular processes.
