摘要: Abstract Samples of eggs Chortoicetes terminifera were incubated under 3 temperature regimes which would allow non-diapause to develop about 50% and so take them beyond the diapause stage. Even so, many more entered when reared at 20°C for weeks than 32°C 1 week. By collecting incubating intervals after laying in autumn, potential or strength different stages development was estimated. For pre-diapause, proportion rearing used estimate “potential”; those diapause, “strength”. At laying, varied greatly their enter diapause. However, with lower often increased during pre-diapause stage that by time reached but over a lesser range. In all eggbeds, decreased 7–9 laying; little none remained mid-winter. These variations seem reflect how much threshold is above non-diapause. Both may value some factor whose level determined environment experienced parents changes subsequently.
