摘要: Fluoride is a ubiquitous chemical element in water and foodstuffs. There no consensus about the essentiality of fluoride. are many countries where population drinks artificially or naturally fluoridated water. The other sources fluoride tea, some mineral waters, milk, fishes, salt, dental products, vegetables arising from contaminated soils, air pollution due to coal burning. Biological alterations can be associated contemporary biomarkers, recent historic biomarkers. main negative visible effects ingestion fluorosis skeletal fluorosis. caries prevention only positive effect ingestion. have also toxic on lot soft tissues. A observation neurotoxicity its intelligence quotient children. exhibits toxicity against terrestrial aquatic animals, plants, microorganisms. presence coexisting substances modify toxicity. compounds like arsenic, calcium, magnesium, aluminum, lead, selenium been investigated for their synergetic antagonist effects.
