摘要: Surface coatings are important in terms of aesthetic and protection against the environmental harsh conditions such as corrosion, erosion, abrasion, mechanical forces. Importance coating is due to this fact that by use a sub-micrometer film special substrates can be protected find an appropriate role application sought. However, improvement properties so one best methods improve their using nanotechnology. Polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS) type silica family with imperial structure RSiO1.5. This cage-like molecule has been able take on space industry. It affect (modulus, elongation at break, yield strength, impact resistance), surface (hydrophilicity, hydrophobicity, friction, roughness), thermochemical (curing time curing behavior), rheological properties, chemical resistance, permeability. In chapter, effect POSS addition flame retardant effect, corrosion resistance studied.
