摘要: The CoMAS project aims to develop new methodologies and tools for the restoration conservation of submerged archaeological artefacts. One goals is study cleaning operations that are intended remove living organisms (algae, sponges, molluscs, etc.). These cause severe deteriorations artefacts their removal crucial subsequent phases consolidation protection. In particular, Unit Underwater Archaeology Istituto Superiore per la Conservazione ed il Restauro experimenting comparing different techniques developed in context project. This comparison requires also a precise documentation test cases quantitative measurement effectiveness procedures. paper describes process has been defined order document monitor results obtained through experiments, conducted with utensils over various types surfaces (marble, bricks, mortar, etc.) affected by several biological colonization. includes: 1) 3D mapping experimental site; 2) planning tests choice areas be cleaned; 3) reconstruction selected areas; 4) execution operations; 5) acquisition cleaned 6) model before after cleaning; 7) analysis data about effectiveness. implemented during an experimentation carried out “Villa dei Pisoni”, located within underwater site Baia near Naples.
