Data acquisition and interpretation of horizontal well pressure-transient tests

摘要: For both vertical and horizontal wells, pressure-transient testing is a powerful tool for evaluating in-situ reservoir wellbore parameters that describe the production characteristics of well. Although many operators use well technology, engineers consider wells impractical too complex. Experience has shown, however, with adequate test planning, based on concept low regimes focused optimizing conditions, can be as successful testing.
