摘要: Abstract : Humans perceive linear acceleration and tilt by the otoliths as a result of shear forces on maculae. A paradigm was set up to study influence from different directions otoliths, eye movements perception. On Coriolis Acceleration Platform Naval Aerospace Medical Research Laboratory (NAMRL), five adult male subjects were oscillated in lateral direction (Y-axis, subject either sitting 'upright' or 'supine') longitudinal (Z-axis, 'supine' his right side). fifth condition, which oriented facing oscillation (X-axis), served control condition. In separate sessions, same also rotated these orientations. Data obtained measuring ocular torsion with video-oculography, subjective vertical recorded means joystick. The sinusoidal oscillations at 0.22, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5 Hz, maximum amplitude g. Rotations 17 feet center 57 deg/S, resulted centripetal force G head. Ocular appeared all four main conditions (acceleration Y Z), but significant difference amplitude. No found condition X), expected. experienced under centrifugation, indicated so-called 'hilltop illusion' during oscillation. experience most prominent lower frequencies.
