Accelerating fluorescent indicators on the Cosmos-3 and Cosmos-5 satellites registered very soft electrons, their energy being in range of 0.04-5 keV. They were observed mostly sunlit portion orbit. Their mean intensity was ~ 5 x 108 electrons per cm2 sec steradian had tendency to rise with height. pitch angle distribution nearly isotropic j markedly different from such distributions for harder electrons. 1. Electrons 40 eV-5 keV The permitted detection a wide [1, 2].
