摘要: OBJECTIVE To analyze the scientific production about validity and reliability of Manchester Triage System (MTS) protocol. METHOD A descriptive study an integrative literature review. Articles on MTS developed with children adults published between 1999 2013 were included. RESULTS 14 articles selected from a total 8438, nine five reliability. The ranged moderate to almost perfect, higher intra-evaluation. Regarding validity, results seem point equivalent satisfactory sensibility specificity levels MTS. instrument proved be good predictor need for hospitalization hospital mortality. CONCLUSION obtained in studies is varied. It recommended that new indicate necessary modifications so it more safely used by nurses.
