摘要: We report herein the syntheses of dodecamethoxytricyclobutabenzene (TCBB) 1 and hexaoxo-TCBB 2, a class molecules with structural theoretical interest. The preparation is based on 3-fold [2 + 2] cycloadditions benzyne ketene silyl acetals (KSAs), where selectively protected 2-iodophloroglucinol derivative served as synthetic equivalent benztriyne I, allowing rapid regioselective annulation fully functionalized four-membered rings. Structural study former compound showed that C−C bond lengths in central benzene ring were essentially same.
