摘要: This paper describes the experimental and analytical findings of a project focused on structural strengthening reinforced concrete (RC) spandrel beams using carbon fibre polymer (CFRP) composite laminates, subjected to pure torsion. Many current torsional repair methods are time resource intensive quite often very intrusive. The proposed method, however, uses laminates increase capacity beams. In traditional cast-in-place construction, slab adjacent beam does not allow complete CFRP wrap around beam. To simulate this condition, laminate was provided only three sides beam, special anchors were used continuous shear flow specimens. experiments showed that method increased strength by up 77%. Excessive cracking followed delamination caused specimen failures. An equation ...
