摘要: We introduce a fast and robust spatial-spectral encoding method, which enables acquisition of high resolution short echo time (13 ms) proton spectroscopic images from human brain with times as 64 s when using surface coils. The scheme, was implemented on clinical 1.5 Tesla whole body scanner, is modification an echo-planar imaging method originally proposed by Mansfield Magn. Reson. Med. 1, 370-386 (1984), utilizes series read-out gradients to simultaneously encode spatial spectral information. Superficial lipid signals are suppressed novel double outer volume suppression along the contours brain. signal-to-noise per unit resonances such N-acetyl aspartate, choline, creatine, inositol comparable those obtained conventional methods. this technique enhances flexibility in vivo reducing motion artifacts allowing multiple data sets different parameter settings.
