摘要: Agarwood is an expensive resinous heartwood derived from Aquilaria plants that widely used in traditional medicines, incense and perfume. The major constituents of agarwood oils are sesquiterpenes, which obtained isopentenyl diphosphate dimethylallyl precursors through the plastidial methylerythritol phosphate (MEP) pathway and/or cytosolic mevalonate pathway. 1-deoxy-d-xylulose-5-phosphate synthase (DXS) first rate-limiting enzyme for sesquiterpene synthesis MEP In this study, 3 cDNAs DXS genes were cloned characterized sinensis (Lour.) Gilg. These represent phylogenetically distinct clades conserved among plants. Functional complementation a DXS-deficient Escherichia coli strain EcAB4-2 demonstrated they active DXS, rescued E. mutant. Their expression profiles different tissues response to treatments analyzed by real-time PCR. All highly expressed stem, followed leaf root. AsDXS1 was significantly stimulated mechanical, chemical, H2O2 treatment, whereas AsDXS2 AsDXS3 only responded chemical treatment mechanical respectively. three oscillation respond MJ with peaks occurring at time points. Our results suggest conservation evolution imply their functions primary defensive metabolism A. sinensis.
