摘要: Magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) studies on traumatic brain injury (TBI) have shown that the neuronal metabolite N-acetylaspartate (NAA) may be reduced in regions of remote from sites focal injury. Such reductions generally been attributed to diffuse axonal (DAI) or neuron death. The aim present study was investigate contribution metabolic depression, absence DAI cell death, NAA reduction after TBI. right sensorimotor cortices adult rats were injured by weight drop. Two and six days later, tissue slices ipsilateral occipital cortex, same region uninjured rats, superfused examined 1H-MRS. cortex has negligible death but marked transient depression this model injury, ratio peak height total creatine (NAA/TCr) 14% lower than control samples. Six NAA/TCr recovered...
