摘要: Endocardiosis, a degenerative and dystrophic process affecting cardiac valves described in many mammalian species, is characterized by the accumulation of glycosaminoglycans, particular hyaluronic acid, extracellular matrix. The glycoprotein patterns pig mitral normal animals affected endocardiosis were investigated. A different N-linked glycosylation pattern glycoproteins was detected compared with ones. However, samples from valves, sialic acid showed prevalence α2,6 linkage to galactosyl residue, whereas most frequent α2,3 majority oligosaccharides presented two outer branches degrees fucosylation sialylation, we noted an increased number having up four branches.
