摘要: In large-scale multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems, high cost and power consumption of RF chains typically prohibit the use traditional baseband beamforming which requires one distinct radio-frequency (RF) chain per antenna. One possible architecture to reduce number is hybrid in overall beamformer consists a concatenation an analog implemented using phase shifters (PSs) low-dimensional digital beamformer. However, conventional designs require high-resolution PSs, are expensive. this paper, we consider transceiver design for maximizing spectral efficiency MIMO system with where only finite-resolution PSs available at both ends. We propose heuristic critical case equal data streams. show that proposed can achieve rate close optimal exhaustive search. also suggest how generalize algorithm setting exceeds generalized extra significantly improve performance low-resolution PSs.
