摘要: Using the general principle of linear prediction for autotetraploids in absence epistasis, we envisage different types individual selection with truncation: mass selection, combining ability and on progenies from self fertilization. General expressions first cycle are given. With assumption that a locus effect can be neglected relative to total variance, response n cycles predicted. Because dominance effect, will curvilinear. The consequence relaxation is also envisaged. For all three procedures, after several random mating without genetic advance decreases rapidly towards an asymptotic value which dependent only additive variance. Results epistasis clearly analogous Griffing's results diploids restricted pairs loci.
