摘要: To identify and isolate anticancer active compounds from Solanum nigrum, S. nigrum was extracted with MeOH then fractionated various organic solvents (CH2Cl2, EtOAc, n-BuOH, H2O). The cytotoxic effects of the extracts its solvent-soluble fractions were also tested in HT29 cells. All organic-solvent induced cytotoxicity Among extracts, H2O most effective. extract purified further by repeated silica gel, Sephadex LH-20, Diaion HP20, RP-18 column chromatography. An compound, Des-N-26-methylene-dihydrotomatidine, isolated a molecular weight 416 formula C28H48O2. Analysis Des-N-26-methylene-dihydrotomatidine on cells compared to those tomatine tomatidine are similar structure, is higher than above 40 μg/ml concentration, but lower tomatine. This first study describe activity Des-N26-methylene-dihydrotomatidin, nigrum. Des-N-26methylene-dihydrotomatidine seems have potential as natural bioactive compound.
