摘要: Abstract The present work focuses on the seasonal evolution of total suspended particles (TSP) around Teruel power station in Northeastern Spain. results show a marked trend, along sampling period (July 1995–July 1996), which is characterized by levels elements studied TSP that were higher (up to one order magnitude) spring-summer and decreased progressively towards winter. This trend contrasts with reported most studies carried out industrial urban areas Central Northern Europe. origin this may be related to: (a) summer oxidation increased secondary TSP; (b) convective circulation raised soil-related primary anthropogenic particles; (c) frequency intrusion episodes Sahara air masses spring; (d) lower aerosol scavenging potential summer. A clear grain-size fractionation was observed for different ions determined. SO 4 2− NH + concentrated finest fraction (0.3−0.6 μm); NO 3 − , Cl K Mg 2+ Na minor amounts 1.2−5.0 μm fractions; Ca particle diameter. S-bearing species (NH ) 2 (mascagnite), Ca(SO · H O (koktaite) CaSO 2H (gypsum). Mascagnite dominant grain size μm), whereas koktaite also 0.6−1.2 fraction, gypsum predominated other fractions.
