摘要: It has been more important for management of water quality to estimate the amount bioavailable phosphorus (BAP) in suspended solids (SS) entering lakes and estuaries. AGP test or extraction by 0.1 mol l−1 NaOH (C-BOD) is widely used. Recently, highly (HBAP) was introduced indicate a easily soluble fraction using successive HCl NaOH. New biologically measured BAP (B-BAP) bacterial respiration activity this paper. B-BAP estimated from oxygen uptake rate (OUR), which respiratory meter BOD measurement pressure sensor. useful rapid direct bioavailability. B-BAP, HBAP C-BAP river SS were compared with each other. The percentages PP large urban river, while percentage NaOH-P rivers flowing agricultural areas. By comparison fractions paddy soil activated sludge it suggested that areas mainly consisted clay, silt sand, organic particles as well. Phosphorus be than ratio C-BAP/B-BAP small river. As contents almost similar SS, can suitable index indicating rapidly SS. Keywords Bacterial respiration; phosphorus; eutrophication; lake management; rate; phosphate analysis
