摘要: Abstract Under the warm and ice-rich nature of permafrost scenarios climate warming on Qinghai–Tibet Plateau, construction Railway has to utilize new techniques by cooling down ground temperature. The non-dimensional governing equations for natural convection in variable permeability porous media are derived. Onset development winter-time crushed rock revetment investigated an airflow function. Numerical results indicate that pattern occurring within will be unicellular, thus forming chimney effect cool roadbed during winter months. In order evaluate effectiveness embankment, overall Nusselt number relevant percentage representing heat transfer through unit length at embankment base were defined. dependences thickness layer amplitude harmonic surface temperature analyzed using a numerical representation convection. approach evaluation critical thicknesses railway was developed basis dependence Validity evaluating filled demonstrated both numerically experimentally. Thus, this is available Railway.
