摘要: Background Healthcare workers in primary care are at risk of infection during an influenza pandemic. The 2009 pandemic provided opportunity to assess this risk. Aim To measure the prevalence seropositivity A(H1N1)pdm09 among healthcare Canterbury, New Zealand, following pandemic, and examine associations between participants’ sociodemographic characteristics, professional roles, work patterns, seasonal vaccination status. Design setting An observational study involving a questionnaire testing for all Zealand December February 2010. Method Participants completed that recorded data, symptoms influenza-like illness, history vaccination, patterns. Serum samples were collected haemagglutination inhibition antibody titres measured. Results Questionnaires serum received from 1027 participants, workforce 1476 (response rate 70%). Seropositivity was detected 224 participants (22%). Receipt vaccine (odds ratio [OR] = 2.0, 95% confidence interval [CI] 1.2 3.3), recall (OR 1.9, CI 1.3 2.8), age ≤45 years 1.4, 1.0 1.9) associated with seropositivity. Conclusion A total 22% seropositive. Younger those who recalled having influenza, had been vaccinated against more likely be Working dedicated centre not increased
