摘要: This article puts a unique spin on Charles Darwin’s work by looking at the plants that he studied through lens of ethnobotany. I employ this biocultural perspective to explore handful species understand how their cultural constructions intersect physical appearance, biochemistry, and behavior. While natural history studies contemplated variation, sexual reproduction, speciation, myriad other biological themes, look conjunction ethnography biology therapeutic actions describe diverse cultures use those for medicine, food, applications, tangible qualities both impact health contribute meaning. briefly introduce Darwin his theory selection science society.
