摘要: Introduction Throughout the world, indigenous peoples share traumatic colonial experiences that have caused gross inequalities for them and continue to impact every aspect of their lives. The effect intergenerational trauma other health disparities been remarkable Indigenous children adolescents, who are at a greater risk adverse mental addiction outcomes compared with non-indigenous people same age. Most exposed addictive substances an early age, which often leads initiation substance use is associated subsequent physical issues, poor social relational functioning, occupational legal problems. aim this paper report protocol scoping review school-based interventions prevention in ages 7–13 living Canada, USA, Australia New Zealand. This seeks answer following questions: (1) What known about preventing (2) characteristics use? Methods analysis will steps described by Arksey O’Malley Levac: identifying research question(s); relevant studies; (3) selecting (4) charting data; (5) collating, summarising reporting results (6) consulting experts. Our findings be reported according guidelines set Preferred Reporting Items Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses extension Scoping Reviews. Ethics dissemination approval not required project. Findings from study presented lay public, scientific conferences published peer-reviewed journal.
