摘要: Background/Aims: To investigate the expression, clinical significance and cellular effects of miR-497 in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Methods: NSCLC cells were transiently transfected with mimics or siRNA to up-regulate down-regulate expression. Quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) was used detect mRNA level miR-497. Luciferase assays, colony formation assays BrdU incorporation performed identify targets role cells. Finally, abundance analyzed a total 51 specimens. Results: The transcript levels significantly decreased tissue (25/30; 83.3%). Low tumor correlated advanced pT stage. Additionally, overall survival patients (n = 51, p 0.022). Overexpression inhibited proliferation down-regulation resulted elevated growth. Exogenous over-expression YAP1 partially eliminated miR-497-induced Conclusion: plays an important inhibiting by targeting YAP1. Our results suggest that is potential therapeutic target treating NSCLC.
