摘要: Composite strains of Trichostrongylus colubriformis and Ostertagia spp consisting 0, 1, 10, 25, 50, 75, 90, 100% known resistant were prepared tested for benzimidazole resistance using faecal egg count reduction tests, in vitro hatch assays tubulin binding assays. All tests detected where the proportion strain composite was 50% or more, whereas none unequivocally below 25%. Egg no less sensitive than detecting low levels but provided a better quantitative estimate moderate to high resistance. Faecal therefore, provides suitable means field more are required. Results indicate that use post-treatment counts alone an adequate indication anthelmintic efficiency.
