摘要: Background & Aims Although hepatitis B and C have been the main drivers of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) has recently become an important cause HCC. The aim this study was to assess causes HCC among liver transplant (LT) candidates in United States. Methods Scientific Registry Transplant Recipients (2002–2016) used estimate trends prevalence LT with most common types chronic disease: alcoholic disease (ALD), (CHB), C, NASH. Results 158,347 adult were included. Of these, 26,121 (16.5%) had HCC; proportion increased from 6.4% (2002) 23.0% (2016) (trend P .10), CHB decreased 3.1-fold (P .05). Conclusions Nonalcoholic is rapidly growing US patients listed for transplantation.
