Laboratory characteristics of a cohort of patients with early rheumatoid arthritis

摘要: INTRODUCAO/OBJETIVO: Caracterizar uma populacao de pacientes com artrite reumatoide (AR) inicial quanto aos aspectos laboratoriais, comparando-a outras coortes similares. PACIENTES E METODOS: Os dados apresentados fazem parte um estudo prospectivo coorte incidente, em que foram avaliados 65 AR inicial, acompanhados por 36 meses a partir do diagnostico, na Clinica Artrite Reumatoide Inicial Hospital Universitario Brasilia (HUB). Foram registrados os demograficos, clinicos e laboratoriais pertinentes avaliacao da coorte, incluindo hematimetria, provas atividade inflamatoria presenca autoanticorpos (fator - FR, anticorpos antipeptideos citrulinados ciclicos anti-CCP antivimentina citrulinada anti-Sa). RESULTADOS: Houve predominio mulheres (86%), media idade 45,6 anos. Doze (18,46%) tiveram o diagnostico laboratorial anemia (hemoglobina < 12 g/dL). Velocidade hemossedimentacao (VHS) proteina C reativa (PCR) encontravam-se acima valor referencia 51 (78,46%) 46 (70,76%) pacientes, respectivamente. Trinta dois individuos (49,23%) positivos para pelo menos dos isotipos sendo 28 (43,07%) FR IgA, 19 (29,23%) IgG 32 IgM, respectivamente; 34 (52,30% total) das tecnicas utilizadas averiguacao (CCP2, CCP3 ou CCP3.1), enquanto 9 (13,85%) anti-Sa. CONCLUSOES: As caracteristicas nessa brasileira se assemelham varios norte-americanas, europeias latino-americanas anteriormente publicadas.
