摘要: Abstract Autonomous driving might change the value of travel time savings (VTTS) since it potentially enables alternate use and increases comfort. Riding autonomously on long-distance trips can be an attractive case, is often felt as exhausting/tedious task. Simultaneously, while first empirical insights impact automation VTTS for daily are available, there a lack studies addressing travel. In order to close this gap, we have estimated potential changes in mode choices resulting from availability autonomous vehicles using stated-choice experiments estimating mixed logit model. A reduction by 22% found riding compared manually. This contribution underlines vehicle related choices, discusses its implications provides base input demand modeling.
